About Joyful Hearts Home and Care

Joyful Hearts Home and Care is a Christian-based school and children’s home in Kimilili Village, Bungoma County, Kenya.

They currently serve over 250 boys and girls, ages 4 to 14, from Grades 1 through 9. Many of our children are orphans or come from families struggling with poverty, illness, or mental health challenges. Some lost parents to HIV, cancer, or drug addiction, while others are supported because their families simply cannot provide for them.

The team includes 15 dedicated teachers and 5 staff members, many of whom serve voluntarily out of love and compassion. They work tirelessly to ensure each child feels valued, safe, and inspired to learn.

Joyful Hearts Home and Care also help students who complete primary school continue their education through high school, believing that long-term support can change lives and break the cycle of poverty.

Through prayer, faith, and the generosity of others, they continue to grow—providing food, shelter, and education to some of Kenya’s most vulnerable children.

Together, we can give every child a joyful heart and a hopeful future.
